Mothman Suncatcher
Inspired by the places, legends, and wildlife that make West Virginia unique, our handcrafted glass suncatchers celebrate some of the Mountain State's most beloved icons — from the state flower, the rhododendron, to the legendary Mothman, the iconic WV Barn at Wardensville Garden Market, and the beloved opossum.
Each suncatcher is handcrafted in Wardensville, WV from start to finish by local Appalachian youth. Designed by our Marketing Apprentice and brought to life by the talented members of Dakota Glass Works' Junior Crew, every piece reflects both the stories of our state and the next generation of makers.
Hang one in a sunny window and watch the light bring these West Virginia favorites to life, or display it year-round as a small reminder of the Mountain State.
Because each suncatcher is made by hand, slight variations in shape, size, and detail are to be expected — and celebrated. It's part of what makes every piece a true original.
Every purchase helps support Appalachian youth learning the art and craft of glassblowing — investing in creativity and meaningful work close to home.
Dimensions: Approximately 3" in diameter.
