Intro to Glassblowing

Ready to go beyond a quick make-your-own experience? Intro to Glassblowing is a two-hour, hands-on class designed for those who want to understand the full rhythm of the hot shop.

You’ll work side by side with one of our skilled glassblowers, learning the complete process—from gathering molten glass at the furnace to shaping and refining your finished piece. Along the way, you’ll practice solid glass forms like paperweights while building foundational skills in heat control, timing, and teamwork.

No prior experience is required, but this class is ideal for those ready to slow down, pay attention, and really learn how glass moves.

After the class, your pieces will head into our annealer for a controlled cooling process. They’ll be ready for pickup or shipping 7–10 days later.
