Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Thank you for supporting handblown glass made one piece at a time in Wardensville, WV. Because each item is individually crafted in our studio, natural variations in shape, thickness, color, and character are part of the process — and part of what makes your piece uniquely yours.

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused, undamaged items in original packaging.

To initiate a return, you must contact us within 72 hours of receiving your package. All returns are subject to approval and must be authorized before being sent back.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 5–10 business days.

If a returned item shows signs of use or damage not caused in transit, we reserve the right to deny the refund.

Final Sale Items (Non-Refundable)

The following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or personalized pieces
  • Made-to-order items
  • Workshop-created pieces
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked as Final Sale

Please double-check all selections, quantities, and personalization details before completing your order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packing your glass, but if something arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 48 hours of delivery so we can make it right.

To expedite the process, include:

  • Order number
  • Order date
  • Full name used on the order
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item
  • Photos of the packaging (if damaged in transit)

Once verified, we will remake or replace the item at no additional cost. If a replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

Shipping & Delivery

Dakota Glass Works is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Packages marked delivered but not received
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses entered at checkout

If a package is returned due to an address error, the customer is responsible for additional shipping charges.
